Missa-Roo

Introducing...Missa-Roo! Isn't she cute? She's supposed to be a bunny. I doodled her in class Thursday and, after having an unpleasent day, decided I needed to bring her to life. You can't see it in the picture, but she also has a bright yellow pom-pom tail. The fabric came from a pair of pajama pants my sister made me a few years ago. They were falling apart, but I couldn't bare to get rid of them. Now they can live on as a cute stuffed bunny. Maybe I'll make her a twin sister from the other pant leg. ^_^

Crafty Fun

Picture!

I'm so proud of the way this little guy came out I had to post about him ^_^

I call him Mr. Green Tea. The pattern came from Therese Laskley's Softies book (fun book with many other cute projects as well). I changed the face to make him a bit less girlie. I used a seed bead for the nose to avoid the dreaded french knot since I can never get them to look right.

I also wanted to highlight these cute little things. I didn't make this one, but you can get instructions on how to make your own here. They are so adorable! It makes me want to run out and buy pom-poms. Don't want to make one yourself? Visit the snarkydork etsy shop. ^_^ I think I may make a few for my sister, since she has a birthday coming up really soon.

Eco Yarn

As a crocheter and begginfing knitter, I was really interested in this article I stumbled across threw craftzine.com this morning. It comes from The Hook and I blog (http://hookandi.blogspot.com/ ) and has some interesting info about "eco yarn" You can read it here: http://hookandi.blogspot.com/2007/10/blog-action-day.html
